I had my follow-up hospital appointment today, and it turns out that there actually is a reason why this little procedure might've felt somewhat painful. ( cut for the slightly squeamish )

Mmm...a fairly nice day today, except for this morning, which scared several shades of spit out of me, as I awoke to discover that after stitches being removed from my left eyelid, and then attempting to wash said eye, lead to stitches not doing their job and a literal split in the skin. Well firstly and annoyingly, I just wrote a nice huuuge mail regarding a S/W fic, pushed the 'post' button, went to the bathroom, and then when I came back to the computer I was offline! Arrgh. Sore, blurry-eyed, hideously swollen, expander-ridden, hot, leg achy (they took muscle from it), relieved, still sore, but....
