Last night was an adventure in making shrimp corn chowder. Turns out the recipe I used would have been better for a large group of people, and as a result I now have 6 pints of frozen soup plus two more in the fridge for later. I took tomorrow off from work on the spur of the moment to have a mini-vacation, and oh was that ever the right decision. I may still have a zillion and one things to do, but just the simple fact that it'll all be according to my own schedule and that I am not expected to check in on the rest for at least 24 hours is such a nice thing that I feel ( Read more... )
