I had a dream last night that James had to cater a wedding, and for some reason he stayed overnight for it, and he invited me. Most of my dream was just people dancing. I don't remember falling asleep on the couch. I don't think I did. I remember it was about 10:30 and I was yawning a lot, but I didn't feel super-tired. I thought, "I'll just close my eyes for a bit, that should take care of the yawning.

I didn't feel well when I went to bed last night; I felt borderline nauseous, not really enough to call in sick, not really enough to stay up trying to combat it. It meant I didn't sleep well last night, but at least I slept, for a few hours at least. I had vivid dreams ( Read more... )

Today is a Memorial Day barbecue at the parents'. James wanted to make a pie for the occasion (he was inspired by the fact that pints of strawberries are 3 for $5 at Safeway). I wanted to use up some of my ingredients.

I had this dream where I had a rivalry with a radio DJ from England. We went to Home Depot. He got in a 12-story elevator, pushed 6, and then went into the 2-story elevator, giggling. Update on the old guy in Manassas: apparently he had Parkinsons, and his leg seized up on the gas pedal, so, going 100 miles per hour, he had a choice: drive into oncoming traffic, or drive into a building. It's a weird day when driving into a building sounds like the better option.

I had this crazy dream last night where I was conjugating velle, "to wish," and somehow it was crucial to Sulla's arguments in the Senate when he was a tyrant, and all the sudden I couldn't breathe, because someone was choking me.
