This week feels like I'm in a movie: one day I'm in LA, interning and teaching, and the next day I've packed everything up and moved back home and taken a job in San Francisco? When did all THAT happen ( Read more... )

Many of you already saw this on Facebook, but: I got the job! I move north next Saturday and start work the following Monday. HERE WE GO.

So, a bit of context:

1) I'm at my parents' house. They're not around, having taken off for a month-long round-the-country road trip; my friend Cathye is house-sitting, taking care of the cats, etc. All is well so far.
