Not sure if I can post this to FB. I love my 10th decade patients. Seriously . What an achievement , stroke of luck , good genes , whatever . The consistent thing I see is insight and wisdom. Even the pseudo crazy ones still have a great sense of humour.

Heck even the 70s and 80s are a whole different and good ball of wax consistently .

Life is good. Finally getting gorgeous weather, if a little hot.

Tonight there were terrific thunderstorms , during which we heard a rather spooky siren like for air raids - but this was for a hurricane warning! They are killing me! I made kevin go tonight with all three kids .

Yesterday was 102 degrees here in parts, though at least there was a wind. We got a new set of air conditioners, 'super duper high efficiency' so of course monstrously huge but effective. The last post is made all the more poignant when I think back to my own upbringing, and that of my siblings. Our children have discovered computers, and Callum in particular has been bitten by the video game virus!
Man they are SO addictive and behavior warping! So this is our latest parenting challenge in supervising, limiting and

Just finished reading the marriage plot - at 4 am this morning. I though it was very interesting and compelling. Oh my goodness though - bought the skates last year while I was pregnant.....they seem huge now!
Guys skates are just so much wider anyway. Perhaps if I put inserts , and even are supports in them it would help.
It was so nice to be able to do fun outside winters stuff.

Colour

My son, who I think of in my inner mind as completely Canadian , has been born and raised in America. Is it wrong to explain exactly what is going on in the movie, Remember the Titans? It sounds very harsh when he is 5 , but there it is.
