I went to see Australia with my Mum and brother last night. Both the story and the acting have some strengths and weaknesses, but overall I really enjoyed the film. It isn't going to win any awards, but it was thoroughly entertaining.  At various times I was on the edge of my seat or almost in tears, which is usually a sign of a half decent story ( Read more... )

Had a great time down in MA this weekend. Spring is in full swing down there, with lots of flowers and trees coming into bloom, and trees beginning to look quite green. I was delighted to hear the peeping frogs at night. I really wish I knew what species they are exactly.
