Hardly any heavy rains this month. That means more flowers. : )

The tagar is covered with thousands of white flowers, the tip of each

Early every morning I see a path covered with dozens
of pearly white prajakta blooms. It is practically impossible
to pass them without pausing. If the rain is gentle, the
flowers are intact and I can pick up a few. But even a
slightly strong shower can bruise their delicate
petals.

At work I find on my table a platter full of freshly plucked

Friday was K's birthday.

I gifted her a kurta, two cakes and a bunch
(not a bouquet) of yellow rosebuds.

She was totally thrilled by the latter.
I have always disliked bouquets, I find them
too elaborate and artificial. Maybe it is because
they draw more attention towards the arrangement
than towards the flowers themselves.
