Waiting to start participating in some marketing "webinar" for my work with D in about 15 minutes. I really hope I know what I'm doing. My laptop doesn't have a microphone. Roller Sktaing
Last night marks the second week in a row that Adam and I have gone roller skating at a local rink. I had no idea these places were still in existence, but oh, they are, and ooooooohhhhh there's still an audience. This makes me so happy. Progress
Yesterday I made a big chunk of progress on Adam's web site. I'm still not pleased with the way we're doing it, but it's not my web site and I have a lot of other things to be taking care of, so the sooner this is off my desk, the better. I've been avoiding coming here because while I wanted to document everything that happened and everything I was feeling, I couldn't bring myself to think about it long enough (in cohesive sentences) to write it down. The light at the end of the tunnel
I'm beginning to see it; only the light between tunnels will be very short-lived. Even still, I'll be happy to put one project behind me and start on the next. Forward-moving progress...well, I guess that's an oxymoron.
And LJ is acting stupid and sluggish so my picking my brain apart will have to either wait or take place elsewhere. -
Home Again!
I always look forward to getting away, but after about 5 days I'm ready to be back home in some sort of routine, sleeping in my own bed, using my own bathroom. After 11 days I was totally batshit crazy this time. I'm so happy to be home! This was an odd trip. It started out with chaos at the airport, which is never fun. I had an 8:00 dental appointment this morning. He redid some fillings. It actually feels like he filled about half of the top of my mouth. He also numbed me so much that I really can't talk or move my mouth, and rinsing my mouth was just ridiculous, as I have no feeling, and as a result, little control over what my upper lip does.
