AAAAAAAAH!!!!!

I am back in Edinburgh after THE MOST BRILLIANT TOUR EVER. It was so brilliant in fact that I am attempting to change my plans for when I'm back in London so I can do their 5 day England tour as well.

I was so sad when I got to my hostel last night that I had a wee bit of a cry in the shower. Sadface. It's just I'll never see most of these people again (yeah I know Facebook BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME).

God, Scotland is so beautiful. The Isle of Skye was utterly breathtaking, especially because it was sunny and warm the entire time we were there.

The last place we stayed at, Carbisdale Castle, was literally a haunted castle and in the middle of nowhere. To get to the pub we had to walk down the World's Longest Driveway, along a dirt path between a farm and a meadow filled with 7ft high nettles and scrub, across a river and down another dirt path. It takes about half an hour to walk and going there was adventurous, going back was just plain freaky. Did I mention there were absolutely NO LIGHTS for 80% of the journey? I walked back with a couple of people and Driver Dan who delighted himself by telling ghost stories and scaring the bajeezus out of us.

Oh but there was a guardian of the pub walk! A cat that lived at the castle would walk with you down to the pub and back again and if you took a wrong turn she would cry and act crazy until you found the right path. Seriously.

My Epic Shower Adventure continues. Carbisdale had the most novel idea at saving water. You know those taps they put in public toilets where you press down on them and the water comes out? Well they had that in the shower and the water lasted 10 seconds (a girl timed it) before switching off again. I was so bemused by the whole thing that I couldn't stop laughing during my entire shower.

Oh I've forgotten to mention I spent most of my tour throwing up!!! On the second day I got bus sick twice and from then on my stomach was ridiculously sensitive. I've hardly been eating anything and my stomach is all messed up now. I get so hungry I feel sick but then when I try to eat I can't because I feel sick! Brilliant! It's getting better now, I just have terrible munchies every two hours and then eat like a bird.

Today I am off to buy my kilt! I totally regret not buying it before the tour. I'm also investing in another jumper as the main one I have is getting ratty really fast (also when I managed to puke on myself I didn't have a backup one to wear).

I should go, I'm hungry again. Sigh.
