Oh, shenanigans!

Today, Caitlin, Jen and I went to the Australian Museum and wreaked havoc, natch. Words cannot describe the awesomeness, so I will show it in pictures. Let's just say they should never let us in the "hands on" rooms.

Yesterday Caitlin, mum and I went sightseeing in the Blue Mountains. We went to the Hydro Majestic; an enormous Victorian era hotel, Echo Point; home of the Three Sisters, Katoomba and Leura. We had lunch at the Paragon at Katoomba, the tea room that is name-dropped by Jasper Fforde in First Among Sequels. We shopped at Leura and I found this ( Read more... )

On Wednesday Caitlin, Jen and I got together and pretty much wreaked havoc in Sydney. It was cold and wet [first time since 1993 that Sydney has had 12 days straight of rain] and so we flitted from store to store, trying to keep ourselves entertained.
