liquid sunshine
Am in Galway, Ireland! Not digging it as much as Scotland and my Haggis tour, but still having quite a bit of fun. There are a few spare seats on the bus and because I have to sit near the front due to motion sickness I've been sitting by myself the past two days.
I also seem to have become attached to the massive party animals of the group (because two of them I met on Haggis) and I feel a bit like a tagalong. Ah well. Story of my life, no?
Ireland is gorgeous. Bloody wet though! It's rained more the two days I've been on tour than the entire time I was in Scotland. And heavy rain as well. The first thing we did this morning was walk up a bit of Mt Kilpatrick and then just as we were coming down it started to pour sideways. My raincoat kept my torso dry but my jeans were fucking soaked! It took about half an hour of standing in front of a fire for them to dry slightly.
Definitely packing a complete second outfit tomorrow.
Argh I'm fucking buggered this afternoon. No sleep last night. We had pretty much the entire tour in one dorm room and half of them snored. Everyone is going out again tonight and I just want to curl into a ball.
