To get to my laptop's heatsink you have to take it completely apart  - take off the keyboard, palm rest, screen, it's a huge hassle. So, I had a computer tech I met at work to do it, though it pained me to do so (in the wallet, mostly). He updated iTunes, which I had purposefully failed to update as I don't like the new interface. Yknow, for Firefox I've got the GreaseMonkey add-on and a bunch of its scripts, to block pop-ups and the like, and now a new program that blocks a billion potentially harmful scripts from running all the time.      Okay, in the last week, my brother's laptop has had pretty much everything replaced: screen, hard drive and now the DVD-drive. My computer decided it hated writing CDs and my dad's computer suddenly "lost" its hard drive.
