There's a few empty bottles of beer by his feet and he's smoking, but very slowly. When the scene finishes, Kage lifts the remote, hits rewind, and watches it again.

[He leans in the doorway, silently, seeing that it's a bit of a scary movie. So he decides, hey, he could proably sneak up on Kage, here! So he starts to creep up to the couch, and he's keeping an eye on the screen to wait for the scariest part to jump on his Bro, and then...]

[Kage has his pistol out and he's out of his couch in a second withthe weapon trained on Chase. His heart is going a thousand beats a minute and-- Fuck. Fuck, it's just the kid.

Kage lowers the pistol, strangely grateful for Chase's presence. Pan left. Even's fucked up, but Chase? Chase is still there.

Kage breathes out a laugh.]

[Chase raises his arms in surrender, gun pointed at him.]

[But Chase's attention is divided and the thing comes out of the cieling.]

[Kage twists to look at the screen. Yup, the thing is coming out of the ceiling. Without looking, Kage flicks the safety on and tucks the gun back into his pocket.]

[The door to the media room that Kage is in opens, and Link is there in the doorway, with a pile of tapes under one arm. It takes him a split second before he realizes that there's someone in here already.]

Oh -- hello?

[Whoever it is, he doesn't recognize him. His eyes move to his TV screen. Nothing of interest, as far as Link can tell at the moment - two men talking.]

[Kage looks over his shoulder and... he smiles, lifts a hand to wave to Link.]

[He leans back to look around outside the room uneasily, and then back in at the man. His right arm scrambles to keep the tapes against his torso snugly when they start to slip.]

[And then - screaming? He looks back at the TV screen and watches silently, his attention captured for the moment. Strangely he just looks surprised and intensely interested, rather than shocked or frightened.]

[Kage glances over the files of every passenger that boards. He pauses the film, seeing that Link is interested.]

[Remy wasn't checking to see if the room was occupied as he stepped in, reading the dvd box in his hand. There was a Superman movie. How come no one had told him?

He stops and looks up as he realizes the room's being used.]

[Kage lifts the remote control and pauses it again. He's seen the scene a few times, and he's pretty much got what he wanted out of it.]

[He looked at the screen. It doesn't look done. Either way, he shrugs and holds up the movie he's holding.]

I found a Superman movie. I didn't know there was a movie. I thought it was just a book but...

[Alice is hunting. Hunting for... she's not entirely sure what, but she knows she's going to completely win when she finds it. She is a hunter. Like a cat. Or a dog. Or a lion. Or an emu.

She slowly peers into the media room and completely forgets about hunting when she spots Kage. Who is he? Is he a passenger? Is he crew? He's not Redd, she knows that. But she hasn't run into anyone else yet.

She sidles over to the couch, sitting down beside Kage primly, hands on her knees, completely avoiding his gaze.]

[ Kage continues to watch the scene, then he rewinds it a bit to the beginning to watch the conversation again.

"Did you ever use it?"
"No, I hoped I'd never have to."

He glances at Alice again.]

[She is very intently untying a knot in the string around her wrist. When he says her name, she looks at him, realizes who he is, and cheerfully salutes before looking bashful again and going back to her knot.]

Kage leans back and continues to watch.]

*Hazar enters the room, perking up at the sight of Kage. She doesn't see the movie yet. Instead, she goes to walk up behind the First Mate and attempts to give him a hug behind.*

[Kage reaches behind himself and pets the side of her head. He smiles, but it doesn't really reach his eyes. He's tired.]

*She giggles and leans into the petting. Violet eyes blink at the sight of the movie and she couldn't help but to tilt her head, watching it.*

*Points to the monster on the screen.*
