Vacation week makes me happy. Right now I'm in Detroit visiting the folks for a few days, but I'll be back in Boston on Saturday so I'll still have a few days there to relax before I have to go back to work.

A couple of months ago, I went to the Purim celebration at my temple (for the gentiles on the list, it's a Jewish holiday that involves much partying). So, I'm sitting in front of the TV half watching the silly VH1 countdown of the top 100 teen stars. It's good for a few laughs. I am counting down the minutes until December vacation. Clearly I am overscheduled and stressed out because of it. I have always pushed myself, but I think I'm pushing a bit too far this year.
