In between being sick, I've managed to watch some tennis, most notably the entire women's final (meaning, I stayed awake). Of course I'm delighted Kvitova won. More than delighted. SO has perfected his running forehand slice that screeches over the net at an impossible angle and I can't get near it.

A golf club is an excellent way of getting cane toads off the tennis court. Or the lawn. Or the driveway. Or just about anywhere. I use the metal one that has a big fat blade on it, as it makes up for me having a lousy aim.

Women's finals. Ack, ack. Ack. Has Amelie come out of retirement yet?

In better news, I've fallen in love with RockKwiz, because I love the presenter and it's filmed in The Espy, St Kilda. Luckily, it's taking my mind off the tennis.

That tonight, I played some of the most awesome tennis I've EVER played in my life. One set and I beat SO 6-1. That does not happen, good people, he normally beats me about 6-4 or worse.
