SO has perfected his running forehand slice that screeches over the net at an impossible angle and I can't get near it.
A golf club is an excellent way of getting cane toads off the tennis court. Or the lawn. Or the driveway. Or just about anywhere. I use the metal one that has a big fat blade on it, as it makes up for me having a lousy aim.

Couple not guilty in abortion trial. Ah, Queensland. Still backward and blighted in so many ways. At least they were found 'not guilty'.
I'm really tempted to sign up for the obscure fandoms exchange and request Hyperdrive. (Look at my icon, oh ye on LJ). But then I'd have to write something and I already have an inbox full of deadlines and no time.
Boxercise! I love it!! But it's fucking hard. Not just the boxing, but the jumpsquats, push ups, sprinting, and various combinations of cardio and strength. I bought gel hand protectors and gloves this arvo, the better to beat the stuffing out of the bag. And I haven't got Michelle Obama arms YET, but they are coming. Oh yay and verily, I will get there. if it doesn't kill me first.
How come the envelope for returning an Absentee OVERSEAS voting ballot to the US election people says in big letters on the front "NO POSTAGE NECESSARY IN THE U.S. MAIL"?
