Athletic gods. Or so sayeth one of the women who was in the race with us this morning (who also happens to be married to a friend of my dad's). But it was still pretty cool to hear. *G*

Well, John called this morning a little after 7:00. Canoe race canceled due to excessive rain. I'm actually kinda glad -- I was feeling awfully tired this morning.

So, back to bed I go.

Not sure if I'm making a mistake here, but I signed up for another canoe race on Sunday, this time with the folks from FEX. Valerie and I are going to be the official women's team and John is lending us his racing canoe. ("Like lightning," he says.)
