Last night was A Cappella Festivella 17 at UAA. Our one and only Alaskan college a cappella group, AK Chill opened the show with a Disney medley that had people giggling and made everyone smile.

Has been wet. Like fog so thick you could cut it with a knife (which makes me think of Scooby Doo cutting out the fog donut and eating it). All that wet makes me ache very badly.
But it's been a good week. There is a new project up at Beadwork at BellaOnline, a mini pirate banner for TLAP.

Yesterday, planning on avoiding the crowds Saturday, Mike got off work early so we could go to the Alaska State Fair.
We have never been as a family. Not even the years I had blue ribbon entries in the fair.

This last week, I've been introducing my husband (who it must be remembered missed most of the 80s through unfortunately being in Italy at the time) to Twin Peaks. Last night, Mike ran over to the museum to buy tickets to see the show at the planetarium during his lunch. The kids and I hopped on a bus going downtown and got the tickets from him.
