Productivity dropped by 40%. For one thing, chin-scritches seem to be called for. And unlike some people, I've never mastered the art of typing one-handed.

Words for the day: 5606. I'm now up to 9382 words. Not bad, when you consider I started the weekend with slightly over a thousand.

...but I ended up falling asleep for hours. Not my fault, man. I had a sleepy Captain on one side of me, and a snuggly Islay on the other. The napping-kitten-field was too strong for me. I had to succumb.

Nano's right around the corner and I have no idea what to write...

I just nearly had about four heart attacks a moment ago. I was pulling up my Nano file to get another (hopefully) three thousand words in, so I click on the nano.doc icon on my desktop.

It pulls up the saved document from two days ago. There was none of yesterday's work in that document. None. That's five pages of work, gone. Commence heart ( Read more... )

I was going to put my first day of 2000+ towards Thanksgiving, but I'm in New York with a baby shower coming up in a few hours that's already showcasing lots of yummy treats. Looks like I'll have to break 2K tomorrow and bank that instead.

So, I've just been reminded that NaNoWriMo is just around the corner. Between term papers, a prospectus, and a LARP I'm going to have very, very little time to write.
