Busy little worker bee
Got home from brunch about two hours ago. I've written a little over 2K words in that span. Yay progress! Not done for the day, of course, but I am going to take a little catnap. Half an hour to let my brain percolate, and then back up and writing.
Hmmm...still haven't gotten my ice cream cake and cocoa. That's something I should work on.
Anyway, assuming I can keep my current rate of 1K words an hour, I'll only need three more hours to make my goal for today. Not that I intend to stop immediately once I hit 5K, but it's nice to be able to say, "I can stop (without guilt!) at 8 o'clock."

If worse comes to terrible, and I cannot get back to writing today, I'm at least under 10K words behind. That'll change by tomorrow morning, but as long as I go to sleep with a word-deficit of less than 10K, I feel like I can still make it.
All right, it's back off with the wireless and into bed. My alarm's going off at 4:30, so I'd better get napping while I can.
