Apparently, Summit Media did receive a great number of complaints about Jasper's fugly hairdo in New Moon that they changed it again. Amusingly, his new style is remarkably similar to how I wear mine now, only his is a little longer. And I had decided about two weeks ago to grow mine out.

A belated Merry Christmas and an on-time Happy 2010 to everyone! I just returned from a trip to visit The Matriarch in New Jersey. I may write more about this later. I found a new webcomic, Partially Clips. So many of these have made me crack up. I'll be linking some of my favorites here for a while.

When I got home today, it was so much cooler inside the house than outside that I thought The Maternal Unit had forgotten to cut back the air conditioning when she left this morning.

The thermostat was set at 88˚.

I'm reading book #3, Eclipse, now. And every time I try to imagine Jasper Hale's voice, it always comes out like George Takei.

I have a "thing" about the novels I read; I always like them to be in paperback. I think that this may be in large part because I think of textbooks when I encounter thick hardbacks. Aside from that, paperbacks just feel so much more tactile, easier to tote around, easier to get into, easier to curl up with on a sofa ( Read more... )
