I have definitely been knocked out for the past couple of days. First starting to nod off during the rare work file that I could find, and then falling asleep *sitting up in my chair*? This was the first day that our previously 37C/99F heatwave got into the triple digits, hitting 41C/104F for the first of two consecutive days. I was able to book my second COVID vaccine shot for this upcoming Monday, June 28th. Wooooo Hoooo!! This is because my city is considered one of the hotspots for general cases and for the new DELTA variant, so they upped our second vax timeline. But honestly, our numbers are going waaaaay down now. After the scarcity of vaccines here in Ontario and the incredible frustration of even trying to get an appointment, I had finally nailed one down for the end of the month but it was quite a distance away, about 1.5 hours by bus.
