Just a little Hi
I still haven't hooked up the "new" computer, because I'm kinda chicken to do it and then something goes wrong or the internet doesn't work or I have no sound on my speakers or blah blah blah because TECHNOLOGY HATES ME, so I've just stuck with the old one until I have to switch 'em (which honestly will probably be next week.)
I just wanted to quickly thank everyone that continued to comment on my reading memes posts or occasional other posts even though I wasn't risking logging on just to 'play' and respond back. It really made me feel nice that people were still reaching out with that connections. *hugs to you all*
I went back today only on my first page here to respond to comments -- anymore than that and it'll just get silly. I'm going to go back about a week or so beyond some targeted searches (I'm looking at you, haldoor, there better be baby pics!) and then after today it'll be a clean slate and hopefully I can stay on top of things!
And geez, it was like a summer day today. How is it October 25th and I'm wearing capris and a tank top?
Oh, in other news, I've booked my appointment for the latest COVID vax and a flu shot to boot. Cases are going up here based on wastewater data, and all of our hospitals are currently out of beds. Amy's father, who's in a retirement home, just came out of a lockdown because they had multiple cases. Time to dig out the mask!
