Nightmares
I find it funny how dreams with patently serene (or sometimes silly) images can be so shockingly terrifying.
I've just woken up from a nightmare that, during it, terrified me. The imagery was all relatively benign.

My mac mini has died
That's right, it won't boot into os x.

To bring everyone up to date
I realise that a lot of you are Irish and pretty much up to date with my life. But a friend in the states was surprised to hear I'd lost my job two years ago (near enough).
So, I got sick. Very sick. Unbelievable agonising cramps. Turned my vision black on more than one occassion.

Why I hate firefox
I'm feeling my age today. I logged onto the internet and I saw my cpu usage go up to 80%. I'm not best pleased about this.
I remember the good-ole-daysTM when the primary goals of firefox were "to be better than IE at everything".
Nowadays, it's slower at processing HTML, slower at executing javascript and uses twice the CPU and twice the RAM.
