I feel very strongly about this. I know that rabbits aren't the only animal this happens with, but especially this time of year it happens WAY too much with bunnies. In two weeks from now, the animal shelters will be inundated with rabbits that people have bought for their children for Easter. Not that they mean to do this, of course, but most ( Read more... )

I spent most of today cleaning. Over the last week and a half or so I'd let my tidying kind of slip by the wayside and it had kind of piled up on me. But! I'm now mostly caught up! You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Also, there's a new pet store downtown. Sarah called the other day to tell me about it, and today I wandered down to have a look, since it's the only one in walking distance. Still packing and organising. I got the NIC cage taken apart today as well (I have a huge blister from it! D:), so where it was along the wall I've moved packed boxes to, to try to make it easier to move around in here.
