Three of my dearest friends and I went to dinner and a movie last night to celebrate two birthdays and decided we'd hit a movie afterwards. Because we're all big musical fanatics, we decided going to see Mama Mia! was the thing to do.  Let me tell ya, I haven't laughed like that in I don't know how long.

You know what movie I totally forgot that I adored? "Dying Young" with Campbell Scott and Julia Roberts.  I came across it tonight on Encore and had no intention of watching it...until it was mysteriously two hours later and I was happily bawling as the credits ran.  God I love this film! So I went and saw "Leatherheads" tonight and I have to say that although I don't see it winning any Dundies or Oscars this year, it was pretty great.  Of course, it had a lot going for it -- John Krasinski, George Clooney, great dialogue, John Krasinski, a solid script...and did I mention John Krasinski?
