1. What movie have you seen the most times in the theater? How many times?
I'm a sick person who loves to see movies in the theater so I've seen quite a few of them multiple times.  I think "Clueless" is #1 though -- I swear I saw that film like 12 times in the theater b/c it happened to stick around our theaters for weeks when it came out and this one friend of mine knew someone who worked at the theater so when we couldn't think of anything else to do (or just wanted to get out of the heat) we'd go and her friend would comp us -- we kind of loved that movie then. So yeah. Like a solid dozen screenings of "Clueless" are on my resume.

2. What was the last movie you walked out of in the theater?
"Deceived" with Goldie Hawn in the early '90's -- but only b/c I realized half way through the movie that the guy I was dating was there making out with a girl I thought was my friend. True story.  Ironic, given the movie title, no?   Most recently I came thisclose to walking out of "Hellboy II" -- it was pretty bad.

3. What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
"Annie" - the Albert Finney, Ann Reinking, Carol Burnett, Tim Curry, Bernadette Peters extravaganza back in 1982. I still kind of have a crush (or at least a soft spot) for Albert Finney. And I want to have Ann Reinking's legs - for reals.

4. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?
That's tough.  I love the score for "Memoirs of a Geisha".  And though it is predictable, I'm a big fan of "Garden State".  OH! And I adore "Hairspray" -- it always puts me in a good mood!  And "Fame" will always be one of my favorites.  Baby, remember my name....

5. Have you ever dressed up as a movie character for Halloween? If so, who?
I think I might have been Annie one year -- it was right after the movie and I was totally obsessed with it.

6. What was the first R-rated movie you ever saw? Were you allowed or did you sneak?
I don't know! One of the first was "Pretty Woman" when I was in middle school ( I think). One of my friends had an older brother who bought our tickets and got us in.

7. Star Wars (original trilogy) or Lord of the Rings?
That's a tough call for me.  I guess I'll go with LOTR because I thought that trilogy was stronger overall. Though I do love me some Han Solo. And some ewoks.

8. Pacino or DeNiro?
I echo CH: Pacino. HOO AH

9. Titanic...did it suck or was it great?
Absolutely great! I loved both Leo and Kate and thought that despite the historical contradictions, James Cameron did an amazing job bringing that period, that moment to life.  Love it!

10. What's your take on Cassavetes?
Hmmm. Don't really know any of his work other than "The Notebook" except for "Alpha Dog" which I still haven't seen so....I guess I don't really have one.  Though I will say that I loved "The Notebook" and thought he did the book justice.

11. Favorite character?
Seriously? Just ONE? GAH.....um.....OK -- guy would have to be Lloyd Dobler. Gal would have to be Juno MacGuff.

12. What movie makes you tingle?
Uh, can you be more specific? For example: "The Grudge" makes my skin crawl  -- kind of tingly in a bad way.  "Say Anything" makes me tingly in a romantic way. "The Sixth Sense" made me tingly in a suspenseful way.  Ryan Reynolds in "Blade: Trinity" makes me tingly...elsewhere.

13. What movie always makes you cry?
A Walk To Remember (don't judge!), Serenity (Wash is NOT DEAD), Somewhere In Time, Rent (Angel!), Casablanca, The Hurricane....shall I go on?

14. Speaking of sports metaphors, what's your favorite sports movie?
Hmmm.  I'm very fond of Remember the Titans and The Hurricane -- both amazing (I heart you Denzel) but I also love Tin Cup and The Mighty Ducks (so sue me)

16. Favorite

(a) ... teen movie?
Clueless

(b)...Quentin Tarantino movie?
Pulp Fiction, I guess. Although I don't really like him.

(c)...Bill Murray movie?
What about Bob?

(d)...romantic comedy?
Say Anything -- tied with When Harry Met Sally

(e)...gangster movie?
Hmmm. I think I'll have to go with a classic: The Godfather

(f)...horror movie?
I don't know that I've got a favorite -- but both The Ring and The Grudge scared the bejeezus out of me and were simultaneously interesting.

(g)...made for TV movie?
Follow the Stars Home -- it was a wonderful Hallmark movie (I know, I know) with Kimberly Williams, Campbell Scott and Eric Close.

(h)...director?
Cameron Crowe FTW!

17. What movie have you seen already but will never, ever, ever watch again?
Hellboy II

18. What movie are you embarrassed to really like?
Girl's Just Want to Have Fun, What a Girl Wants, Step Up

19. What movie should be remade ASAP?
Jeez! I don't know.  Well, how about "Equilibrium"? It's actually a cool concept with awesome actors that was really lacking some script doctoring and good direction.  Also, I'd love to see what someone would do with "Laura".

21. For the love of everything that's sacred, please someone stop (insert answer) from making another movie!
Again, I echo CH's choice: Jessica Simpson. Also Kristin Bell unless she can miraculously figure out how to get over herself.

22. What movie do all your friends love but you think is whatevs?
Kill Bill. I have friends who are gonzo for those films and I just don't get it.

23. What movie do you love but all your friends think is whatevs?
Step Up -- the dancing is awesome and Tatum Channing is HOT. I don't care about the cheese!

24. If you could marry any movie character, who would it be?
WOW -- that's a heady prospect.  But I think perhaps...Lloyd Dobler (perhaps the sweetest most sincere guy ever on screen) or Hugh Jackman's Logan (from the X-2 movie 'verse b/c X-3? psssh. Never happened)

25. Best...movie....ever?
Untitled (which is the directors cut of "Almost Famous")

26. Book you wish would be made into a movie, and who would direct it?
I don't really know a good answer to that one. Something that I think might be a fun popcorn film would be "Still Life With Crows" by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child.  They write really interesting fiction and Agent Pendergast is a fantastic character. I don't know who I think would be suited to the material, but I think Joss Whedon is godlike in his ability to craft things I love, so he's always a good choice for me.  "Digital Fortress" (by Dan Brown) might translate to a great summer thriller with someone like Tony Scott at the helm.

And now? MUST SLEEP.

ETA: a cut so the entry wasn't so monstrously long -- I was so tired last night when I finished that I forgot to do it!
