Reading SGA fic in which Torren plays a significant role always makes me nostalgic for Cassandra Fraiser. I had a fic due yesterday for show_goes_on, which I totally failed to complete. The prompt was: John and Dave Sheppard, blood is thicker than water. Hoping for inspiration, I started googling the proverb to get some background, find the original quote. Dear flist, please help? I have a question about literary themes for anyone who might have an opinion, but especially for the veteran writers (masqthephlsphr), whether fanfic or original, because I figure they've dealt with this before or something similar.
