Here in Australia there is a senate submission to support Marriage Equality. It's our equivalent to all the Prop-8 etc legislation in America. For me, as a queer-ally and a feminist, the marriage equality issue has personal ramifications. These laws define what our marriages mean as well as who has access to them.
