I had a dream on Sunday night that I was attempting to keep a pet frog in plates of water under the bed in what used to be my sister's bedroom.  Weird, but the setting didn't seem to be so weird, given that it was my room until I was about 10 and we swapped (she prefered the shape of that room and I thought hers was bigger).

Well, my parents are back now and they sound like they had a wonderful holiday.  They also appear to have had a POV change.

They've offered that, if Graeme and I want to stay here at least half of the time, they'll buy us a double bed and put it in my sisters old room for us (better shape and more room for a double).  They'll also let us have my ( Read more... )

I got an interview!  I got a phone call this morning to say I have an interview on Wednesday at 10:30 for a full time position in Borders bookshop in the city centre.  It's not where I want to be ultimately, and I really didn't want to do retail again, but a bookshop's miles away from a bakers/newsagents and I do love books with a passion ( Read more... )

I'm currently in an internet cafe in the city, trying to kill time.  Apologies for any typos but this computer has a weird keyboard.  The keys are all slanted inwards so the centre keys are triangular.  And the shift key's in the wrong place.
