As I said earlier, I had an awesome weekend. I took the day off on Friday and had an amazingly good lunch with a friend, who loaned me her Danish language instruction cassettes. The other weekend I saw Bon Cop, Bad Cop and found it rather enjoyable. It's a pretty standard cop movie: two cops whose personalities are completely opposite are forced to work together, have many amusing and painful situations due to their differences, but eventually learn to accept each other and become better people for the experience. Been a good week. Started work on a project that I'm the head (read: only) developer on. Should be an experience at the least, hopefully one that doesn't result in the termination of my employment. ^_^

Huzzah! I am now a yellow stripe! An A+ on my test too. I also found out that I can go for yellow belt right before camp in August, and with the hours that going to camp gives you I can apparently go for green stripe right after camp.

To borrow glassstrider's rating system, I'd have to say it was a two nutter.

A few cool action sequences, but bad CG, bad camera work, and an almost complete lack of story and good dialogue really just ruined it. I'll need to watch Equilibrium again to erase that painful memory. At least that movie provided a plausable ( Read more... )
