Huzzah, another Friday!

Been a good week. Started work on a project that I'm the head (read: only) developer on. Should be an experience at the least, hopefully one that doesn't result in the termination of my employment. ^_^

Been downloading and watching lots of things. Spent several hours watching Naruto at some friends' house. I've never watched more than a dozen or so episodes I've seen at their place, but I can see why they like it. I also watched the latest Doctor Who episode. I was worried about the new Doctor, but I thought he did a great job. Aside from the rather dumb way he solved the problem I loved the entire episode and can't wait until the next one. Finally, I managed to finish my downloads of Ghost in the Shell (both the movies and the entire Stand Alone Complex series, which I am VERY much looking forward to watching.

There was other stuff, but it isn't all that important. Instead here is this meme-thingy from glassstrider!

1. Do you prefer console or pc?
It depends, I started out as a console gamer, then switched to PC, and am back to consoles for now. I guess it depends on how serious I want to play. If I'm just screwing around, I'll usually use consoles.

2. Which console is your favourite?
While I'm loving my Gamecube, I'd have to say the SNES is my all-time favourite. While I grew up on that and the NES and have many good memories involving both of them, the SNES is just a more fun system to play.

3. Which console(s) if any do you own?
Atari, NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA-SP, Saturn, Playstation (I think...), Dreamcast, Gamecube.

4. Which is your all time favourite game?
Probably DooM. I played that regularly longer than probably any other game, and it really got me going in both PC and online (well, dial-up) gaming.

5. Whats your most played game at the moment?
At the moment, it would be Super Mario Sunshine, which I'm going through again. I absolutely love the look of the game, and the gameplay is just fun.

6. Do you prefer playing online, with friends or alone?
I wouldn't mind playing online, but all my friends who play games online pretty much play World of Warcraft exclusively.

Depending on the game, I might want to play alone, but for most I absolutely love playing with friends.

7. Which games do you own and for which platform?
Heh... Yeah right. I have hundreds of games, and definately can't list them all by memory. If you ask nicely though I could be convinced to update this with them this weekend, as I could use some movitation to finally catalogue which ones I can part with (along with lots of my other belongings).

8. What game are you most looking forward to?
The next Zelda game. No question. Now, hopefully they won't delay it again. :P

9. Most hours devoted to a single game?
Likely DooM. The sheer amount of WADs and quality level packs available for it gave it nearly endless replay value.

10. Why do you like playing games?
Well, like other things they are a good hobby. A great way to unwind from the day (or get wound up depending on the game :P). It's a chance to immerse yourself in a world that someone else created, to a level that I can't get from movies or books. It's different ways of looking at the world around you, and finding entertainment in what may initially appear to be mundane things.
