A while back I wrote a script that parsed the penny-arcade website to abstract the latest comic and build an RSS feed of the latest comics. I have become a big fan of Google Reader over the past several weeks. Today was much better, I actually felt like I accomplished something for a change. I started my day by writing Python, maybe that had an impact. A goal of mine is to improve my code testing so I may try to write a test each morning (for old, untested code) before I begin new features which should also have tests. One thing I always find myself configuring on a new or unfamiliar workstation is tab completion for the Python interactive shell.
