I read Robin's and Alena's recent posts about leaving kids at home alone and it made me think of this question. At what age do you all think is OK for kids to walk/ride bicycles to school rather than being dropped off at school? I had a freak accident and cut my Achilles tendon last Thursday evening. I went to the emergency room and the doctor there irrigated it, put in a loose stitch and I also got a tetanus shot and an antibiotic shot. I am on antibiotics and pain meds. I didn't stay up to watch the U.S. election results last night. This morning when Dave told me Obama won I was literally doing a happy dance in my pajamas. :) I felt like I had found an original Van Gogh in my attic. They have been losing miserably these last few days. I am hoping if I keep the Jeter icon up for a while they will start doing better. Fingers crossed.

We made the decision to have another surgery done for Lucy's mast cell tumors. The vet took off the tumor on her bum but was not able to get the clean margins that he would have liked.
