Our older dog Lucy has mast cell tumors again. Poor baby girl. She had two removed 2 years ago and they were both grade 2 (cancerous, but not the worst level). She had surgery to remove a large one (grade 2 again) from her neck a couple of weeks ago. She also has one on her bum (anus actually) and one on her outside toe.
She is on chemotherapy and steroids right now. The vet is hoping the treatment will shrink the one on her bum so he can remove that one too. He has already told us her little toe will have to amputated. She is in the picture above where she always sleeps, with her boys. Well, she sleeps in Andrew's bed on the lower bunk. I think I took this picture one morning when Brandon had crawled into Andrew's bed instead of climbing back into his top bunk.
