I haven't made a real update in a little bit. My mom apologized for the harsh message she sent me; she's actually been doing things like that since I moved out. Apologizing, that is, not being harsh. 1. My good friend Erin was due to have her baby (Kira) on the 7th. I talked to her today and if she doesn't deliver by Wednesday, they are going to induce labor. So, I guess it's time for an update. My car has been in for repair for a few days now. I have a deductible of $1000 which Rebecca and I worked out between us and my insurance company is paying the rest. They are also paying for my rental, a Toyota Camry which drives like butter. My last day at work was decent. My department bought me a cake, which we all shared. I got many hugs and good wishes and words of encouragement. After punching out, I immediately purchased ANOTHER cake for Rebecca's birthday. Then I picked up Shannon and we went to Rebecca's. Shannon committed her mom to a psych ward last night, after she slammed her hand in a door and threatened suicide.

It wasn't an easy decision, and I am very very proud of her for doing what's best for herself, her daughter, and her mom (who really, badly needs help).
