Tonight was one of those genuinely wonderful nights where I realized just how much I worry about things I don't really need to worry about, because they are secure and I should be, too.

Although I have to say that I am at least worrying considerably less lately (or at least only worrying about my word count for NaNo), and that's wonderful, too.

I am 435 words behind schedule. D: Val is being very supportive while I am sitting here like "I AM 435 WORDS BEHIND SCHEDULE. D:" by pointing out that I can easily make up the difference tomorrow. Today was a considerably better day compared to yesterday. I went out and spent several hours at Barnes & Noble, just writing and wandering around the store when I needed a break, but it was wonderful. I was a little nervous at first, unsure whether or not I was doing too much, but I'm glad I didn't second-guess myself or ask to go home too soon. ( Read more... )
