This week's so-called escape from the Outlander world was Michael Wallace's "The Red Rooster."

I don't when I acquired the book, because it had been a kindle freebie, but I see that it is now $3.99.

My husband bought me a Kindle (keyboard) for our anniversary 2 years ago. I think this effectively marked my demise from fan fiction. That and I seriously got into Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Series.
