I forgot to post yesterday, but I'm proud to say that my Olimex board is happily talking over USB. Next I'm moving away from examples to writing my own code. This means I have to figure out libusb API to write some host-side code, but it shouldn't be that hard. PSAS is having an introductory meeting in the 2nd floor of Smith Center at 4pm today. There will be pizza! Stop by if you're in the area.

We're also going to be at the MCECS (engineering college) BBQ at 12pm today, but I thought it less likely that a PSU engineering student would wander by my journal.

I just got my LPC2148 board to talk to me over the serial port. You have no idea how happy this makes me. Debugging with blinking LEDs is just no fun. I found out GDB doesn't work when the code is compiled into ROM and there's no way eCos (an embedded RTOS) will fit in 32KB of RAM.
