It’s been a long last few days. This holiday has been a series of very sharply defined moments- many good, many not-so-good.

I have not seen SPN yet. This is the first day in SO LONG where I feel like I can breathe- even my weekends lately have had work commitments that, even if they last only a few hours, end up feeling like they control my entire day. Tonight, THERE IS CRAWFISH.

For the first time, I'm making my mom's recipe for crawfish etouffee and BY GOLLY am I excited. It's a super easy process, as my mom is not the biggest fan of crawfish and so wasn't ever going to spend a long time cooking something she didn't care for that much.
