One of the "have-tos" that I have to get done before I get to play with my dining room (or anything else) - and actually my next project, come hell or high water - is to build a pot rack in the kitchen to solve the following problems:

• a crowded pantry
• an exposed trash can that Daisy keeps pulling things out of

I've always loved the idea of being in the garden, completely surrounded by it.   My first herb garden at my house was a semi-circular bed right off the back porch slab, with a path through the middle so you could walk out into the yard.   Here's a picture of what it looked like after removing the plants and preparing to lay the new patio:

Zilker Garden Festival

Payday is for vegetables.  The ZGF is for treats - plants I don't normally find at my local haunts, or won't take the time to hunt down when I think about them.   My wishlist for ZGF this year:
