We're back in the UK, back in our house, with our cats very pleased to see us back again.

Today it got to about 10 to 5, and I was wondering why my back was starting to feel a bit painful. Then I realised that I had not taken my lunchtime painkillers.

This is a VERY good sign :) Perhaps this accupuncture thing really does work!

Went to see the doctor, and she's confirmed that the pain I have been having is sciatica (which both kaveypie and floyuk suspected whilst we were away. She suspects that given the pain came on gradually it is being caused by an inflammation putting pressure on my sciatic nerve (the other possibility is a slipped disc casuing pressure, but that would generally ( Read more... )
