Yoga 'can help to cut back pain'

Interesting article in the news today:

Regular yoga sessions may be an effective way to combat chronic lower back pain research suggests.

I had pretty much decided to start Pilates at the gym to help my back, but I'm thinking now perhaps I should start off with the yoga class instead.

The good news is that the pain is decreasing. I managed to get off the prescription strength painkillers last week, had a couple of days with paracetamol but have now eliminated that as well. I've also halved my Ibuprofen dose. I'm able to bend a bit more than I could as well, so it looks like I'm making progress, albeit slowly.
