Hectic Week
It feels like Christmas is racing up behind me, and I'm not sure how ready I feel. I've had a really busy week this week, with hardly any time for anything, hence no updates.
Last weekend Chris and Justine brought Jamie over, and we went to spend some time with Ruth, Richard and James. I got to feed him this time, and then winded him and put him down for his nap, and he was as good as gold :)
I've been busy at work, and we seem to have had things planned for every evening as well. Highlight of the week was meeting up with John in John Lewis on Tuesday after work, and completing almost all the Christmas shopping within three hours. I've been buying discounted gift vouchers through a scheme at work all year, and seriously overestimated the amount we spend on our weekly shopping, so we bought all the Christmas presents with the remaining vouchers, no need to hit the credit card at all :) There were a couple of odd things we needed to order online, but the bulk of stuff is now obtained :)
As usual I didn't manage to get organised enough to post my Christmas cards before the last second class posting date, but I did yesterday manage to print off all the address labels and all the newsletters, so John and I are set up to do all the cards today. Then we need to wrap the pressies that need posting, and John can take it all down to the Post Office tomorrow.
I'm hoping to get the tree up as well, but I'm not sure there's enough hours in the day!
