Why are some ketubas in two parts with the signatures in the middle? Even this pre expulsion Spanish ketuba has it. What is the second part of this ketuba (on the left) about?
Believe it or not, this is Orthodox ketuba of Alfred Dreyfus. Signed by the chief rabbi himself. Though both families were so assimilated even he didn't have or remember his Jewish name.
This is an interesting Mizrachi ketuba from Paris. The way the sofer writes shows you the education level in these days!
