I unexpectedly had dinner with Granger and his parents. While there, his father mentioned that he knew man who had grown up to be a a computer science professor by the name of Neil Immerman. So, after they left, I called Creidieki and talked to him for a while.

Rlambert has posted Creidieki's contact information in a friendslocked entry in creidieki.

When I last talked to him, this afternoon, he had a back brace on and had been able to walk several feet and sit up in a chair. He said he is in minimal pain.

He says he will probably leave for Virginia for the summer on Sunday or Monday.

I tried several times to call Creidieki's room today and got no answer. At about 1400h, his dad called me to tell me that they'd moved him to a new room and that he probably was not ready for visitors. However, Creidieki asked I bring him some things from his house. I just received a call from Creidieki. He says the surgery went very well and he is going to try to walk tomorrow. He asks for people to call him at 412 802 3895. This is the hospital phone and he may turn it off if he gets tired ( Read more... )
