So I'm maybe a third of the way into Eldest, the second book in the Eragon series, and I'm finding ( spoilers for the book so far and for series five of new Who )

I, uh... decided to do some sewing. This is fine, although it's been a long time. But my brain decided we needed to sew something for which I didn't actually have a pattern. *sigh* Thanks, brain! But it ended up being really cute! And it was originally a men's shirt, so that's fun.

Over at Academichic it's "Dress Your Best" week. Not dress in your best outfit--dress to flatter your best features (and stop dressing to de-emphasize the features you don't like). Here's my mini version of that. I decided to show off my nice waistline (and stop worrying about my hips).
