I just joined this awesome new community, hoodland, which is an interactive competition community for the Robin Hood fandom. Consider this a pimp for it :) I'm now a member of Team Outlaws, which I think is best for me - after all, I get Much and sometimes Allan and ( season 3 spoilers )

This is interesting - it's an article in the New Scientist about 'undeciphered scripts' (for which, much of the time, read 'unknown languages'), from the Mediterranean, Near East, South America and Easter Island.

It's basic, but gives a decent introduction to something that I think many of you will find fascinating.

This link is telling me something I've been wanting to hear for a long time - John Simm is returning to Dr Who as the Master (for David Tennant's finale, which will be at Christmas though they don't mention that). Oh, and they also say that Rose Tyler, Martha Jones and Donna Noble will be appearing in it as well.
