Sharpe: Great to see Sharpe back and looking great, but generallyt he story suffered for not being based on a pre-written book[1]. Did anyone watch Sharpe last night? I enjoyed it, despite not quite feeling comfortable with the action - possibly this is because the dialogue was very low so I had to keep turning the volume up, or possibly because there were so many damn breaks interrupting proceedings. Well, there was news this week that a new Sharpe TV movie is being made (also see here). Huzzah! I can't wait for this, in spite of misgivings that it might be on the corny side, like Challenge. I don't know what they're doing to Sean Bean to keep him looking so good, but it worked last time :)
