We are making a bid on a new house today. It is on a quiet dead end street next to part of Watershed Park. The back of the house doesn't have much of a yard because most of it is taken up by a ravine (part of the park). It is thick with trees and plants. Well. Not only did they not want to sell the house to us...they pulled it off the market.

And the interest rates have gone up while they kept us hanging.

Our realtor called today and told us that of the owners of the house we want, the husband accepted our offer, the wife said no. Their realtor is going to meet with them again, and maybe they can convince her to change her mind ( Read more... )

Our realtor gave the paperwork with our offer to the realtor representing the sellers. Their realtor said that she thought it was a fair offer. She showed it to the sellers. They offered to go down a measly $3000 in their asking price and wanted us to pay the closing costs instead of half as we had offered. What they are asking is still well ( Read more... )
